Snapdragon

Snapdragons are a classic garden perennial often grown as an annual.  These medium-height flowers will bloom throughout the cooler months in a variety of colors.  They can often survive through summer if watered regularly, to bloom again in the next fall, though our Texas summers can make this a challenge.  Plant in well-draining soil and allow to dry out a bit between waterings.  Once established, they are frost tolerant and can survive quite cold temperatures if protected.
