Description
Salvia coccinea, commonly known as Scarlet Sage or Blood Sage, is a tender perennial (often grown as an annual in cooler climates) native to the southeastern United States, Mexico, and South America. It produces spikes of tubular flowers in vibrant shades of red, blooming profusely from summer until the first frost. This plant is a magnet for hummingbirds and butterflies, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil. Drought-tolerant once established.
