Description
Mexican feather grass is a clumping, drought-tolerant grass that sends up airy, silky, tan-colored flower stalks when in bloom. Growing to a height of around 18-24 inches, with a similar spread, these grasses can provide a delicate background for more showy, colorful plants in the garden or serve as a lovely accent in a xeriscaped setting. The feathery flowers make a pleasant swishing sound in the wind.
