Coleus

Unlike most annuals, coleus are grown for their foliage, not flowers. They have a wide variety of leaf shapes, sizes and colors.  Various combinations of green, yellow, red, maroon, and pink are common.  Coleus will grow about 12-18" tall, with a spreading, mounded shape.  A member of the mint family, they readily propagate from cuttings and thrive in shady spots.
